Description

Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version Handbook is a Pokémon handbook published by Scholastic in 2011. It has information about all Pokémon from the generation V games except for Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect. It also contains information about Professor Juniper, N, Fennel, and the Unova gym leaders. It also has a preface about Pokémon types.

Entries

The entries in the handbook are made so they are easy to understand. They are set up like this:

-Name

-The species of the Pokémon is written under the name.

-There is then a box filled with more information.

-First, they show you how to say the Pokémon's name.

-Then they tell you the Pokémon's number in the Unova Pokédex.

-Next, they tell you the type.

-Then it shows the ability(ies).

-After that it shows the Pokémon's height and weight.

-Finally, it shows the moves that the Pokémon can learn by level up.

-Under the box it shows the Pokémon's evolution.

-It also shows the Pokédex entries from Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version.
