PokémonAus Forums – colloquially known as PAf – is a Pokémon forum that is an offshoot of the PokémonAus news site. It allows users to discuss news regarding Pokémon in Australia and acts as a meeting place for Pokémon fans in the country (and sometimes abroad) to discuss "everything from Abomasnow to Zweilous".

History

Oldest Testament [Added by Slick, the only surviving member of Galactic HQ] •Nov, 2006 - Slick signs up to SPPf. Here, he joins the second iteration of the Pokémon Australia Club and meets members like Charizard and Lucario (then ~Water_Lucario~). •Shortly After - Lucario plans Galactic HQ, a battle system where certain people would represent members of Team Galactic and battle challengers as if they were Gym Leaders and/or the Elite Four. Both Slick and Charizard nominate and become leaders. •Feb 24, 2007 - A forum for Galactic HQ is created. •Feb 26, 2007 - Slick signs up to Galactic HQ Forums. •Apr to May, 2007 - Slick becomes a moderator. •Between Jun to Nov, 2007 - Galactic HQ dies and Lucario begins work on PokémonAustralia24. He adopts PokémonAus24 to the Galactic HQ forum. •Dec, 2007 - Lucario announces PokémonAus24 will be moving from Galactic HQ to its own dedicated site. Old Testament •Jan 1, 2008 - The old forum is opened. •Feb 19, 2008 - New Brawl skin and avatars become available. •Feb 27, 2008 - Pixie (then 'Spodee') posts the only Welcome Thread to ever not get a reply.•Feb 27, 2008 - New Twilight Skin becomes available.•Mar 21, 2008 - VIP password removed, automatic entry for those with 200+ posts.•Mar 21, 2008 - New features added to forum/Proboards update.•Apr 4, 2008 - sjwizard94 is made a moderator, purely a title.•May 9, 2008 - League24 replaced with Member24.•Jul 17, 2009 - Pixie (then 'Ριχιe') is made a mod.•Aug 8, 2009 - Aaron (then 'bAaron') joined the forum and got a PM to the tone of "Welcome!" from Pixie.•Sept 18, 2009 - Masterdongm720 replies:

Its ego-maniacal and exhaustively tireless MUSHT WINZZ CUZ UR BULIES ways prove worse than smoking. •Jan 14-22, 2011 - The amount of spammers sky-rockets, with over 60 in the span of a few days. Lucario implements that 'New Trainers' have to have approval before their threads/posts outside Prof's Lab are published. •Jan 15, 2011 - The 300th genuine member joins (and stays active!!!). •Jan 25, 2011 - The 20,000th post is made. •Feb 13, 2011 - Doridor is made a moderator. •Feb 19, 2011 - Slick actually gets an avatar. •Mar 2, 2011 - The 400th genuine member joins.

PokémonAus

The PokémonAus section contains topics such as the Rules and FAQ, discussion of the main site and forum, PokemonAus.com News Centre (where news that is published on the main site is found) and the Professor's Lab, a place where new members can make welcome threads and introduce themselves.

Pokémon

Topics here include General Pokémon Discussion, Pokémon Anime and Movies, and Pokémon Merchandise.

Gaming

Topics here include threads dedicated to the last two previously released generations, general discussions for any Pokémon games on consoles or handheld devices. Also included are topics for any other game and topics exclusively relating to Nintendo.

Online Gaming

The Online Gaming topic includes threads dedicated to trading and battling against other Pokémon trainers via Wi-Fi. Online Pokémon tournaments (via Pokémon Online) are also held here.

Sub-topics include:
Black & White Battles: Dedicated battles for Pokémon Black & White.
Black & White Trades: Dedicated trades for Pokémon Black & White.

Also included are topics for general online gaming.

General

The Creative Discussions usually include things that aren't necessarily Pokémon related. These topics include: General Discussion, Entertainment Lounge, where movies, TV, and music is discussed, Fan Projects, where fanfiction and art are displayed, Forum Games, and the Spam Toilet, where posts don't contribute to your post count.
