Pokémon: Greatest Battles is a book that features the greatest matchups of all time.
Synopsis
The book starts off with telling the reader how to decide which Pokémon is better.
Well, how do you know? You can never know for sure who will win in a Pokémon face-off- until it's over! But you can make a good guess. Here are THREE things to help you make your best guess:
1) Type
A Pokémon's type is the most important part of choosing who will win a Pokémon battle.
2) Experience and Skill
Some Pokémon are faster than others. Some Pokémon are stronger. Some have been in more competitions. And some have evolved while others have not. All of these things play a role in which Pokémon will win a match-up.
3) Personality
Personality is what makes every Pokémon special. And it plays a part in who will win a battle. Some Pokémon are bold and brave. They like to fight. Other Pokémon are sweet, shy, or easily frightened. Some Pokémon are happy and others get lonely.
The next part of the book gives the reader a type chart which shows all the types and what they are strong or weak against.
- Ash's Treecko vs. Lileep
- Grovyle vs. Marill
- Sceptile vs. Gravel
