A PokéFan (Japanese: だいすきクラブ Daisuki Club, or (Member of the Pokémon) Fan Club) is a type of Pokémon trainer that first debuted in the Generation II games. They come in two varieties: Middle-aged women with Poké Dolls and middle-aged men with small children dressed in Pikachu outfits.
They raise many different cute Pokémon that usually belong to the Fairy egg group. Also, their Pokémon are notable in that they always hold a Berry or Oran, depending on the game.
In the anime
- Sukizo, who is a Pokémon Contest judge, resembles a male PokéFan and is in fact president of the Pokémon Fan Club.
- Lola, Brock's mother, has a resemblence to the female PokéFan.
In the Pokémon Special manga
In Danger: High Voltorb a group of PokéFans congregate in the Pokémon Fan Club headquarters to talk about their favourite Pokémon and to read their own magazine.
Trivia
