Poison Heal (Japanese: ポイズンヒール Poison Heal) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. Three Pokémon can have this Ability. Prior to Generation V, it was the signature Ability of Shroomish and Breloom.
Effect
In battle
If the Pokémon is poisoned or badly poisoned, it will gain 1/8 of its maximum HP at the end of each turn instead of taking damage. When a Pokémon with Poison Heal is badly poisoned, the poison damage counter is still rolling, which affects the amount of damage taken if the Pokémon loses its Ability.
Outside of battle
Poison Heal has no effect outside of battle. Poison will still have its normal effect on the user outside of battle in Generation IV.
