In Japan, this card was released as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil ADV-P Promotional card at participating 7-Eleven stores as part of the Pokémon Fair campaign, which ran from June 25, 2003 until stocks lasted. Customers who purchased a bottle of Coca-Cola Vanilla, Sprite Classic, Ambasa Sour White, Fanta Fruit Punch, or Fanta Melon Soda were given one of 21 possible cards. It was later reprinted with different artwork by Kouki Saitou and available in a promotion distributed by Meiji Chocolate in February 2004.
