Pikachu (Japanese: ピカチュウ Pikachu) is a Lightning-type Basic Pokémon card. It is part of the EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua expansion.

Release information

Nintendo Promo print

In Japan, this card was released as both a holographic and non-holographic promotion at 7-Elevens. Later, it was released in a promotion distributed by Meiji Chocolate in February 2004. This card also appeared in English as one of the Nintendo Black Star Promos with different artwork by Kouki Saitou. It was released in the EX Collector's Tin in November 2003. A non-holofoil version of this card was distributed at the Journey Across America tour.
