Parabolic Charge (move)

Parabolic Charge (Japanese: パラボラチャージ Parabola Charge) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation VI.

Effect

Parabolic Charge does damage and restores the user's HP equal to half of the damage dealt.

If the user is holding a Big Root, the HP restored is increased by 30%. Big Root does not increase the damage dealt.

If the target has the Ability Liquid Ooze, the user will lose the amount of HP it would have gained instead.

Parabolic Charge cannot be used if the user is under the effects of Heal Block.

	Heliolisk spreads its frills and fires a blast of electricty into the air. A sphere of electricity is formed in the middle, which shoots out multiple blasts of electricity to multiple targets. Heliolisk then absorbs some of the damage it dealt, healing it.

Trivia

• Parabolic Charge was the first Generation VI move seen in the anime. It was used by Alexa's Helioptile in The Journalist from Another Region!, prior to the release of Pokémon X and Y.
