[[Riley]] examines the {{p|Steelix}}. He says that Steelix had used {{m|Rock Polish}} to raise its speed but was still defeated, so he changed his plan. After a while Riley and {{TP|Riley|Lucario}} get attacked and their eyes are sealed by [[honey]]. They got attacked by two {{tc|Roughneck}}s and they reveal that Lucario's sense was blocked by {{p|Mothim}}'s {{m|Air Slash}}. {{adv|Diamond}} decides to battle instead of Riley. He commands [[Tru]] to use {{m|Razor Leaf}} but {{p|Vespiquen}} defends it with {{m|Defend Order}}. Diamond then starts to explain that the speed of the leaves depends on how many leaves are shot out. He then commands Tru to use Razor Leaf with only one leaf. As a result, Vespiquen is knocked out, making the bees panic and Mothim confused. Lucario quickly finishes the Roughneck with {{m|Bone Rush}}, {{m|Flash Cannon}}, {{m|Aura Sphere}}, and {{m|Close Combat}}. The [[Pokémon Egg]] is also secured.
