VS. Kyogre & Groudon IV (Japanese: VS. カイオーガ & グラードン IV VS. Kyogre & Groudon IV) is the 236th round of the Pokémon Adventures manga in the Ruby & Sapphire arc.
Synopsis
Winona says to Sapphire that they can't get out of the way of the tsunami in time. Thus, she has her Masquerain use Silver Wind on the tsunami, which isn't doing much. But the tidal wave splits open at the last second. Winona, flying on her Altaria, pulls up Sapphire and the Relicanth. Sapphire realizes that the Relicanth released some sort of energy that broke the wave. She decides to let the Relicanth join her party and name it Relo.
Winona calls Wattson. At the Abandoned Ship, Wattson and Flannery are losing against the legendary Kyogre. Wattson says that they can still deal damage.
At Route 123, the sun gets stronger and the land grows. Winona decides to call Roxanne and Brawly. They report that the Pokémon behind this is about to show itself. And five seconds later, Groudon digs its way of the ground.
Winona says that Roxanne, Brawly, Wattson, and Flannery can stop Groudon and Kyogre. But a voice in Winona and Sapphire's heads says, "No! That's not enough to stop the catastrophe! Attacking them won't solve the problem at all! The real battle is taking place in a cavern deep underground!" The old couple from Mt. Pyre float up to Winona and Sapphire by means of their Chimecho's Psychic. Then Psychic fails and the old couple falls, but Sapphire has Pilo catch them. They tell Sapphire and Winona who they are and about the powers of the Red and Blue Orbs. Winona learns why Tate and Liza couldn't come to the Gym Leaders' meeting and that now they're missing! Their true opponents are in the Cave of Origin.
