VS. Kyogre & Groudon III (Japanese: VS. カイオーガ & グラードン III To VS. Kyogre & Groudon III or 被害地へ飛べ To the Damaged Areas) is the 235th round of the Pokémon Adventures manga in the Ruby & Sapphire arc.
Synopsis
Groudon buries deep down in the earth. Its power causes plants to melt.
Also, in Fortree City, Sapphire remarks upon how hot it is. She sees the plants and trees melting and the missing river.
In Winona's tower, Brawly runs to the door because Dewford has been flooded. The Hoenn Pokémon Association President tells Brawly to stop and that there are two sources of the climate change. This is when the Gym Leaders see the dried up forest. The President says that the two fields of weather will eventually clash in the middle of Hoenn, tells Roxanne and Brawly to go to the area in a drought, and Wattson and Flannery to go to the flooded area. They are to transport endangered citizens to New Mauville. They move out in teams of two, Winona with Sapphire.
Winona and Sapphire fly to Route 123. A tsunami washes numerous Pokémon onto the land. They suffer from the intense heat. Sapphire runs to a badly burned Relicanth and gives it a Berry as the next tsunami comes down.
