The Last Battle V (Japanese: 最終決戦V The Last Battle V) is the 171st round of the Gold, Silver & Crystal arc in the Pokémon Adventures manga.

After the crystal wall cuts it in half, the Mask of Ice is shown to have survived. He assaults Lt. Surge, and Raikou and Entei attack the Mask. Suicune becomes sick, as the Mask used Curse on it secretly. The Mask flies away, with Misty still trapped inside the crystal wall. Misty starts to faint, but someone else is inside the crystal wall. Crystal sees a hand holding a Clear Bell, and realizes that Eusine is saving Misty. As they try to revive Misty, Crys leaves to find a wounded Gold, but discovers that he is missing. Nearby, half of the Johto Gym Leaders find director, who informs them of the Mask's invincibility. Whitney realizes the identity of the Mask, while the Mask itself is being followed by a healed Gold.
