This round starts on the [[Magnet Train]]. Inside, [[Clair]] states that the [[Neo Team Rocket]] soldiers are controlled by another [[Gym Leader]], and goes after [[Blaine]] in revenge of [[Lance]]. As they battle, the other Gym Leaders leave to help battle [[Team Rocket]] in the other train cars. In one of them, [[Erika]] realizes that [[Misty]] has feelings for {{adv|Red}}, while Clair reveals to Blaine that Lance is her cousin. His father fell in love with a woman from [[Viridian City]], and they were banished from the Dragon Clan. It also explains why Lance has healing powers.
