Breath of the Dragonair Part 3 (Japanese: VSハクリューIII VS. Hakuryu 3) is the 62nd round of the Pokémon Adventures manga.
Synopsis
Lance throws Pika back to Yellow and has his Dragonair wrap around Yellow, immobilizing Yellow. He tells Yellow that he is in the Elite Four and can control Dragons. To prove this, he commands his Dragonair to put thunderclouds into the sky. Pika tries to attack Lance, but stops when Dragonair's Hyper Beam narrowly misses it. The beam then changes direction and hits Pika. It falls into the ocean. Lance reassures Yellow that he held back, so Pika won't die. He then sees the scar on Pika's ear, and he knows that the Pikachu is Pika. The Elite Four has found Pika. Lance's Dragonair drops Yellow and wraps around Pika. Yellow tells Pika to use Substitute, and Pika creates a double that attacks Lance but misses. Enraged, Lance has his Dragonair use Dragon Rage, and Dragonair blasts Yellow, Pika, and its double, making them fall into the ocean. While underwater, Pika learns a new move.
Lance hears something, and he turns around to see Yellow surfing with the help of Pika who had learned Surf. Pika uses Thunderbolt on Lance, causing a giant explosion and causing Lance to disappear.
Yellow, having apparently defeated Lance, starts to go to the city at the "other end of the sea"*. Behind Yellow, bubbles start to rise to the water's surface...
