There's Someone More Important Than Clefairy?! is the fourth chapter of the Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire manga.

Synopsis

Isamu Akai, Clefairy, Pikachu and Tyrogue arrive in Petalburg City. They are exploring the streets when they are startled by Poké Balls whizzing by. They follow the Poké Balls to Petalburg Gym, where they discover that they are being kicked around by the Gym Leader, Norman. They discover that the reason why Norman is kicking Poké Balls and drinking is because he is frustrated that the Balance Badge was swallowed by his Slakoth.

Clefairy tries to surgically extract the Balance Badge, however, Isamu refuses to let him do it. Slakoth grouchily begins attacking Clefairy, using Yawn to make Clefairy sleepy. Clefairy refuses to let himself fall asleep, strapping several alarm clocks to himself to keep awake. Slakoth responds by eating all of the alarm clocks, and swallows Clefairy as well.

Inside Slakoth's stomach, Clefairy finds the Balance Badge amidst the clocks and an assortment of other garbage that it has eaten. Clefairy starts attacking the stomach so that Slakoth will spit him out, and crawls out when Slakoth is knocked out. Clefairy tries to steal the Balance Badge hismelf, but Norman angrily chases after him and the others.
