This short was aired on ANA domestic flights in August 2004, and later released on DVD in Japan on September 9, 2005; although pre-orders were delivered by June 25.

(Japanese: ピカチュウのなつまつり Pikachu's Summer Festival) was an anime short aired on ANA domestic flights in August 2004.

Although it is considered a short, it has features more commonly found in normal episodes, such as BGM reuse and animation by Team Ota; however, the storyboarder/director has also worked on the 6 movie-paired anime shorts and the art director has also worked on some anime shorts and movies.

Story
