Camp Pikachu (Japanese: ピカピカ星空キャンプ Pikapika Starry Sky Camp) is the 12th Pikachu short of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on July 13, 2002 and released on DVD in the United States on January 20, 2004, together with the fifth movie.
Synopsis
Template:Incomplete synopsis The Pichu Brothers sit on a train which will take them back to their home town. However, they are knocked off the train and sent flying through the air, where they crash into a Wynaut and then are sent flying again. Meanwhile, Pikachu and some of its friends play games in a forest when the Pichu Brothers and Wynaut land on Psyduck. Pikachu is thrilled to see them again and it learns of their situation. Along with its friends and Wynaut, Pikachu decides to help the Pichu Brothers find a train. The group head out and have some fun, including making a water slide using a waterfall and Totodile's powerful Water Gun technique and making wall shadows, even with Pikachu making a huge shadow since it's from a far distance from the wall. The group camp for the night but the younger Pichu Brother is scared by a playful Duskull, who is a friend of Wynaut. The three then play the same joke on the older Pichu. It begins to rain, but a friendly Volbeat leads Pikachu and the others to a mill to shelter.
Duskull scares Meowth and Wobbuffet, who are hiking. The two flee to the mill but accidentally set off the mechanisms inside, nearly hurting some of Pikachu's friends. They manage to stop the mill's mechanism but Meowth and Wobbuffet are blasted off. The next day, Pikachu and it's friends spot a train and race downhill. The older Pichu manages to get on the train before it leaves, and the others have to pursue the train on a small rail platform. The Pokémon put all their skills together and manage to get the younger Pichu on the train. Meowth and Wobbuffet also land in the train after they tried to retrieve their last bit of food from a hungry Skarmory.
