Overcoat (Japanese: ぼうじん Dust Proof) is an ability introduced in Generation V. Seventeen Pokémon have this ability.
Effect
In battle
In battle, the Pokémon does not take damage from weather conditions like Sandstorm or Hail.
Outside of battle
Overcoat has no effect outside of battle.
Pokémon with Dust Proof
Trivia
- Four of the Pokémon able to have this ability are already immune to one of the damage-dealing weather conditions by virtue of their type (five if Wormadam's Sandy and Trash Cloaks are counted as separate Pokémon).
