An Oran Berry will mature from a planted seed to a full-grown, fruit-bearing tree in 24 hours, with 4 hours per stage. An Oran tree will yield 4-15 Berries. During its growth, watering the plant will add 1 Berry to the final harvest, weeding it will add 2, and removing a pest will add 3.
An Oran Berry, if held by a Pokémon, can restore 10 HP when its HP drops to below ⅓, or can be used as an item to restore 10 HP at any time.
An Oran Berry restores the user's HP by 100 points, instead of 10 like in the main series. In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, there is also an item that damages the user by 10 HP, but looks the same as the Oran Berry on a dungeon floor.
