Omastar (Japanese: オムスター Omstar) is a Water-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the EX Sandstorm expansion.

Does 30 damage plus 20 more damage for each Water Energy attached to Omastar but not used to pay for this attack's Energy cost. You can't add more than 40 damage in this way.


Release information

This card is one of the 46 cards first released in September 2003 in the English EX Sandstorm expansion before the release of their Japanese prints. The Japanese print was later released on October 24 in the Magma VS Aqua: Two Ambitions expansion. It was later reprinted in the EX Power Keepers expansion with new artwork by Ken Sugimori, which was later released in the Japanese World Champions Pack.

Trivia

Origin

Hydro Cannon is a move in the Pokémon games, though Omastar cannot learn it. The Japanese name of Hydro Cannon is spelled ハイドロキャノン rather than ハイドロカノン as in the video games.
