Nursery Aide (Trainer class): Difference between revisions

A Nursery Aide (Japanese: ほいくし Kindergarten Teacher) is a type of Trainer class introduced in Generation V. They are normally found near Preschoolers. They can be considered a different version of the Teacher Trainer class. Some will give out Rare Candies when defeated. They normally use a variety of different Pokémon. In the Battle Subway, they specialize in Eeveelutions, and in the early stages, either Dragon-type Pokémon or the final evolutions of starter Pokémon.

In the anime

Daniela, a character of the day in Here Comes the Trubbish Squad!, is based on this Trainer class, due to the Japanese name of the class. She was shown to run a kindergarten located somewhere between Striaton City and Nacrene City.

Pokémon

		Deerling
		Deerling is Daniela's only known Pokémon. She intended to use it to scare off the Trubbish that her students had befriended. However, Ash knew that Trubbish meant no harm and intended to protect it. As a result, he battled Deerling with Pikachu briefly. The battle ended when both Pokémon nearly made the secret base collapse. Deerling's only known move is Tackle.

• In the Japanese and French versions of Black 2 and White 2, Nursery Aide June (named エナツ Enatsu and Mahault, respectively) admits he's a man, but dresses like a woman so he could have his job.
