Shortly after its fifth year anniversary, Wikia made a new skin, 'Oasis', mandatory. Many wikis left Wikia, including Animal Crossing City. Originally going to move to ShoutWiki, which did happen for a short while, the director of the wiki contacted the [[NIWA]] forums (of which the independent wiki was affiliated with). Animal Crossing City later decided to merge with the aforementioned Animal Crossing Wiki to form the wiki that exists today. Nookipedia, originally known as Animal Crossing Wiki, is a wiki devoted to Nintendo's Animal Crossing game series. It was originally two separate wikis with one independent and the other hosted by Wikia.
