A Nomel Berry will mature from a planted seed to a full-grown, fruit-bearing tree in 24 hours, with 6 hours per stage. A Nomel tree will yield 2-10 berries.

At 100% performance, a Nomel Berry can produce a level 11 (probably higher) Spicy-Sour Poffin when cooking alone.

In the anime

The Nomel Berry had a minor appearance in Pokéblock, Stock and Berry. Slices of it were handed out as free samples. Pikachu liked it, but Ash was overwhelmed by its sourness.
