Nomad's Independence Day is a independence day festival celebrated in Fuchsia City annually. It commemorates the independence day of various nomadic tribespeople in Kanto.
The festival lasts for a week, and every member of every tribe shows up for a series of Pokémon races. The races are chiefly held amongst Pokémon of the same species until the last day, on which the Fuchsia Free-For-All Race takes place. In this race, Trainers can chose any Pokémon as a steed, save for Pokémon that can use Fly.
