Release information

This card was released in the English Jungle expansion as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card, originating from the Japanese Pokémon Jungle expansion as only a Holofoil card. The Holofoil print of this card was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 expansion. The Non Holofoil print of this card was later reprinted in the English Legendary Collection expansion.

Early prints of the Unlimited Holofoil version of this card were printed without the Jungle set symbol.

Trivia

Origin

Mega Punch is a move in the Pokémon games that Nidoqueen can learn via TM01 (in Generation I) or Move Tutor (in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen). This card's English Pokédex comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
