Nick's father is a character of the day who appeared in Celebi and Joy!. He is the father of Nick.
He was first mentioned by an elder Nurse Joy as he and Nick got killed by a rock slide several years ago the day Nurse Joy threw a party. When Ritchie went back in time with Celebi, Nick's father was first seen when the Pokémon Center was built in Marion Town. The past-day Nick revealed that he helps his father with carpentry.
Later, the past-day Nurse Joy found out that Nick and his father disappeared when she was about to throw a party. Ritchie borrowed Nurse Joy's Ponyta to search for the two since it was near the time the rock slide occurred. Ritchie found them heading out of town. Before the rock slide can cost them their lives, Ritchie convinced Nick and his father to return to town to celebrate Nurse Joy's birthday. The two complied and thus, avoided getting hit by the rock slide.
