Trivia
- The English title, Revelation, is one of two Biblical references in the TCG. The other one is Neo Genesis. Genesis and Revelation are the first and last books of the Bible, respectively. The name Revelation also refers to this being the set to include the last of the Generation II Pokémon that had not yet become cards.
- As with Neo 1 and Neo 2 in Japan, Neo 3 had a 9 card promotional set - Wizards added these cards to the English set.
- Neo Revelation was the first set to introduce Shining Pokémon to the TCG: Shining Magikarp and Shining Gyarados. These quickly became very sought-after cards and some American collectors paid over $250 for the Japanese versions before their English release. In Japan, the odds of finding one of these elusive cards in a Booster Pack were stated to be 300:1.
- Neo Revelation was also the first set (and only so far) to not have Preconstructed Theme Decks associated with the expansion.
