Muddy Water (Japanese: だくりゅう Muddy River) is a damage-dealing Water-type move introduced in Generation III, where it was Marshtomp's and Swampert's signature move.
Muddy Water inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of lowering the target's accuracy. Muddy Water hits both opposing Pokémon in Double Battles. In a Triple Battle, Muddy Water will only hit opposing adjacent Pokémon.
