Mr. Shellby (Japanese: タマゾウ Tamazō) is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime. He appeared in Extreme Pokémon!.

Mr. Shellby lives in the town of Eggseter with his wife. They own the Shellby Ranch, where they take care of Pokémon eggs. After they hatch, the elderly couple takes care of the Pokémon until they become older.

In addition to working at the Ranch, the Shellbys also help out during the town's annual Extreme Pokémon competition. All competitors in the race must pick up a dummy egg at the Shellby Ranch and carry it back to the finish line.

Ash was successfully able to do this. As a reward for this, and as a thank you from the Shellbys for saving their Pokémon, they gave him an Egg that hatched into a Phanpy.
