Mr. Saridakis

Mr. Saridakis (Japanese: ナミダバシ Namidabashi) is a character of the day in the anime who appeared in On Olden Pond. He is voiced by Ken Gates in English and 加藤精三 Seizo Katō in Japanese.

After a traumatic childhood experience where he almost drowns in the lake while fishing, Mr. Saridakis becomes determined to buy the lake, and build an amusement park over it. However Tiffany refuses to sell the lake, so he uses his Crawdaunt to scare away all the people who come to fish at the lake.

Crawdaunt and Ash's Corphish have a battle to decide the fate of the lake, but Team Rocket interferes. During the battle to save Crawdaunt Mr. Saridakis is knocked into the lake, and he is saved by Galea and Dragonair. He realizes that it was Galea and Dragonair that saved him all those years ago, and in gratitude he decides to cancel his plans.
