Mr. Mime (Japanese: バリヤード Barrierd) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Jungle expansion.

Whenever an attack (including your own) does 30 or more damage to Mr. Mime (after applying Weakness and Resistance), prevent that damage. (Any other effects of attacks still happen.) This power can't be used if Mr. Mime is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.

Meditate ヨガのポーズ 10+

Does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on the Defending Pokémon.

Release information

This card was included in the English Jungle expansion as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card, first released in the Japanese Pokémon Jungle expansion as only a Holofoil card. The Non-Holofoil print of this card was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 expansion.

Trivia

• Early prints of the Unlimited Holofoil version were printed without the Jungle set symbol. This error was corrected later in the print run.
• This card is only Psychic-type Pokémon card in the Jungle expansion.

Meditate is a move in the Pokémon games that Mr. Mime can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
