Mr. Matthews (Japanese: マシュー Matthew) is the character of the day in Movie Time! Zorua in "The Legend of the Pokémon Knight"!.
Mr. Matthews was the owner of a movie theater and was Luke's mentor. He allowed Luke to watch films in the theater for free in exchange that he helped out with the projection of the film. Later, after Zorua had run away, Mr. Matthews was introduced to Ash and Iris, and Cilan then informed Luke that Zorua had fled inside the theater.
