Release information
This card was released in the English EX Dragon expansion, first originating from the Japanese Rulers of the Heavens expansion. It was later reprinted in the POP Series 2 expansion.
Trivia
This card's artwork appears in the Lumiose Museum in Pokémon X and Y.
Origin
Mr. Briney is a character in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, notable for ferrying the player across the sea to Dewford Town and Slateport City before he or she obtains HM03. The Wingull in the card's artwork is Peeko, his long-time companion.
