The Movie Commemoration VS Pack: Space Fissure's Deoxys (Japanese: 映画公開記念VSパック 裂空のデオキシス Movie Commemoration VS Pack: Space Fissure's Deoxys) is a special Half Deck for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and was released in conjunction with the Japanese screening of Destiny Deoxys.

Release date

  • The half deck was released on August 13, 2004.

Trivia

  • The half deck focuses on the legendary Pokémon Deoxys, as well as several "owner's" Pokémon and some that are native to LaRousse City, the central location in the movie.
    • The first Pokémon card with the "owner" in question being the main character of the anime, Ash Ketchum, was released in this half deck.
  • In a similar style to the Pokémon VS Expansion, many of the Pokémon are evolved yet remain Basic. Nintendo followed Wizards of the Coast's move of not translating such cards as they would be inappropriate for play, so the majority of these cards remain exclusive to Japan.
  • The half deck also features the same "VS" symbol that appears on the VS Expansion cards. This is present on all of the movie-related half decks.
  • Included in this half deck was the first and only lenticular image card, Space Fissure's Deoxys. The artwork, illustrator, and attacks change when it is seen at a different angle. The card will change into either the Attack Forme, or Normal Forme, which were featured in this deck, as well as the Defense Forme, released around the same time as a PCG-P Promotional card.
  • In addition to the cards, the half deck contains a rulebook, damage counters, generic counters and custom coin (Munchlax).
