However, a wild Corsola came along and invaded the ranch looking for a friend, causing the Corsola in the area to flee. Eventually, all of the Corsola were recovered and Misty caught the wild Corsola with the Poké Ball she got from Kurt.

However, a wild Corsola came along and invaded the ranch looking for a friend, causing the Corsola in the area to flee. Eventually, all of the Corsola were recovered and Misty caught the wild Corsola with the Lure she received from Kurt.

Corsola also seems to have a joyous personality, like her Misty. It then became one of Misty's most used Pokémon along with Misty and she continued to use it regularly throughout her travels in the Johto region. It was also used in the Whirl Cup.
Corsola was used shortly after in the Whirl Cup tournament. It was first used in Octillery The Outcast to help a young Trainer by the name of Marcellus training his Remoraid. Corsola starts the battle by countering Remoraid's Water Gun with its Mirror Coat. It then tries for a Tackle attack but Remoraid dives underwater causing Corsola to hit a pillar. Remoraid then fires another Water Gun and knocks Corsola out, which causes it to evolves into an Octillery. Later in the episode it was shown defeating a Seaking, advancing Misty past the preliminary round.

In Pokémon Heroes, Misty participated with her Corsola along with Ash and his Totodile in the Tour de Alto Mare, a water race through Alto Mare. After a close call with the reigning champion Ross and his Wailmer, Misty and Corsola won the race.
In the next eposide, Corsola is used in Misty's first round battle against Harrison and his Qwilfish. The battle once again starts off with a Water Gun being fired at Corsola and it countering the attack with Mirror Coat. Instead of taking damage from this Qwilfish just swallows the water, using it to power up its Pin Missile attack. Corsola fires back with Spike Cannon, which causes an explosion with only Corsola taking damage due to Qwilfish hiding underwater. Qwilfish uses Take Down and soon becomes caught on Corsola's head. Corsola then fires a Spike Cannon, knocking Qwilfish out.

Hoenn
Corsola was called out in the third round to battle Trinity and her Gyarados, who easily defeated Misty. Corsola again starts off countering an attack with Mirror Coat, but it backfires this time when Gyarados fires Hyper Beam and overpowers Corsola's attack. Corsola dives under the water and fires Spike Cannon, which knocks Gyarodos out. Trinity next sent out Chinchou. Due to Corsola being tired from the last battle and being confused by Chinchou's Confuse Ray it was quickly defeated, knocking Misty out of the tournament.
Corsola was used by Misty when she traveled to the Mirage Kingdom in Hoenn, in The Princess and the Togepi. When Misty, Max and May were confronted by Colonel Hansen's Shedinja, Misty had Corsola use Spike Cannon against it, which had no effect due to its Wonder Guard ability. Shedinja then used SolarBeam to send the gang flying.

In Espeon, Not Included, Corsola was used in a battle against Sakura and her Espeon. The battle starts off with a collision of Tackle attacks. Espeon then goes in for a Quick Attack. Espeon quickly gets the favor of the battle, but Corsola, on the other hand, uses Recover and follows up with Spike Cannon, seizing a win for Misty.

In Just Add Water, Corsola was used to challenge Dorian, the Leader of the Coastline Gym. Corsola was initially overwhelmed by Dorian's Mantine using its speed to attack and dodge all of Corsola's moves. Misty has Corsola use Recover, which allows Corsola to get enough strength to hit Mantine with its Spike Cannon and Tackle, knocking it out.

Advanced Generation series
In The Blue Badge of Courage, Misty used Corsola in her Gym battle against Sakura and her Espeon. Espeon starts off with Tackle, which hits Corsola hard. Corsola attacks back with Spike Cannon, which Espeon dodges by jumping into the water. Espeon jumps out with a Swift attack, hitting Corsola hard. Corsola uses Recover and then hits Espeon with a Tackle. Espeon jumps off the wall, and dodges the Spike Cannon that Corsola is now sending at it. Espeon then uses Tackle, followed by Psybeam, knocking out Corsola, making Sakura the winner.

Corsola was also used during a battle against Georgio's Delcatty in A Date With Delcatty. The battle started with Delcatty hitting Corsola with Double-Edge, but Corsola countered quickly with a Tackle attack. Then Delcatty used another Double-Edge and proceeded to use Iron Tail while dodging Spike Canon in the process. Delcatty later used Double Team to disorient Corsola, rendering its Spike Canon unsuccessful before using Ice Beam to land another hit. Despite this, Misty was able to turn things around by commanding Corsola to use Recover to heal itself. After that, Corsola used a combination of Spike Canon and Tackle to knock Delcatty out, leaving Misty as the winner of the battle.

Corsola was used by Misty when she traveled to the Mirage Kingdom in Hoenn, in The Princess and the Togepi. When Misty, Max, and May were confronted by Colonel Hansen's Shedinja, Misty had Corsola use Spike Cannon against it, which had no effect due to its Wonder Guard Ability. Shedinja then used Solar Beam to send the group flying.

Misty's Corsola (Japanese: カスミのサニーゴ Kasumi's Sunnygo) was the only Pokémon acquired by Misty in the Johto region and her eight Pokémon in total.

History

Original series

Misty and Corsola in the Tour de Alto Mare

In Around the Whirlpool, Ash, Misty, and Brock met Professor Elm, who showed off his Corsola. Seeing it also made Misty want to have one.

In A Corsola Caper!, the group met a family who raised Corsola to make jewelry out of their shed body parts. However, a wild Corsola came along and invaded the ranch looking for a friend, causing the Corsola in the area to flee. Eventually, all of the Corsola were recovered and Misty caught the wild Corsola with the Lure Ball she received from Kurt.

Corsola was used shortly after in the Whirl Cup tournament. It was first used in Octillery The Outcast to help a young Trainer by the name of Marcellus train his Remoraid.

Corsola was called out in the third round to battle Trinity and her Gyarados, who easily defeated Poliwhirl.
