Miramax Films, founded by brothers Bob and Harvey Weinstein, is an American motion picture production and distribution company founded in 1979. The name comes from a combination of the first names of the Weinstein brothers' parents, Miriam and Max. Since 1993, it has been owned by the Walt Disney Company, who retained ownership of the brand when the Weinsteins left Disney to form their own company in 2005.

Miramax owns the American distribution rights to the Pokémon movies Pokémon 4Ever, Pokémon Heroes and Jirachi: Wish Maker (direct-to-video).

Bob and Harvey Weinstein's names appear in the "Special Thanks" section of the credits of the three Pokémon movies Miramax distributed.
