Release information

The original Japanese print of this card was part of the Mystery of the Fossils expansion. The English print was released as a promotional card at Pokémon Trading Card Game leagues in both non-holographic and holographic versions in January and April 2000 respectively. It was never included in the English Fossil expansion.

Psywave is a move in the Pokémon games that Mew can learn, though only via TM, and even then only in Generation I. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue.
