Why should it say that? That implies that you should have permission to perform the action, when in most cases you shouldn't. For example, trying to edit this page. --SnorlaxMonster 08:21, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Because Bulbapedia has the protected page text that says:

* If this page is protected, then only [[Project:Administrators|Administrators]] may edit this page.

Until then, try changing it to this:

Until when? Changing it to your suggestion implies that you should have permission, when in a lot of cases, you shouldn't. I don't see any advantage of the suggested one over the current one, which makes more sense with the list of reasons that the interface provides. --SnorlaxMonster 23:02, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
