Masatoshi Hamada (浜田 雅功 Hamada Masatoshi), also known as "Hama-chan" (浜ちゃん) (born in Osaka, Japan on May 11, 1963) played the voice of Slowking in Phantom Pokémon Lugia's Explosive Birth.
He also illustrated the "Hama-chan's Slowing" TCG promo card produced for the Japanese release of Phantom Pokémon Lugia's Explosive Birth.
Hamada is primarily known as one-half of the popular owarai duo Downtown. In a 1999 episode of Downtown's Hey! Hey! Hey! Music Champ TV series, Hamada made fun of the Iron Chef persona of fellow Movie 2 voice actor Takeshi Kaga.
