While he was tending his Mareep, the Mareep farmer noticed his Houndoom, Doomy, had found a Togepi. He found out that the Togepi belonged to Misty and was happy that she showed up and got it back. However, Team Rocket came by and stole the Mareep farmer's Houndoom by firing a net at it. Ash and his friends then battled Team Rocket and freed Doomy.
