Magnus (Japanese: モーガン Morgan) is a character of the day who appeared in The Bonds of Evolution!. He comes from Brackish Town.

Magnus was allowed to have an exhibition match against the Champion of the Kalos region, Diantha. He was announced as "last year's champion from Brackish Town", indicating he had won a tournament and as such was allowed to challenge Diantha. The match was held in Brackish Town. He sent out his Absol to battle Diantha's Gardevoir, but was easily defeated without Absol laying a hit on Gardevoir. After the battle he respectfully shook hands with Diantha.

Absol
Absol is Magnus's only known Pokémon.

Magnus sent out Absol to battle Diantha's Gardevoir. Diantha let Magnus use the first move, and as such he had Absol use Bite. Gardevoir quickly dodged however. Magnus then had Absol use Quick Attack, but Gardevoir kept on dodging by moving quickly across the battlefield. Eventually, Magnus had Absol use Psycho Cut, but Diantha had Gardevoir counter it with Shadow Ball. The Shadow Ball also hit Absol, who was now nearly defeated. Seeing no other option, Magnus had Absol use Perish Song. Diantha quickly responded by having Gardevoir use Moonblast. It hit Absol and it was now defeated, losing Magnus the battle.

Absol's known moves are Bite, Quick Attack, Psycho Cut and Perish Song.
