This card was reprinted as one of the DP Black Star Promos with different artwork by Hiroaki Ito. It was released as a promotion for the Great Encounters Blister Pack.

Trivia

The English print of the DP Black Star promotional card incorrectly credits Daisuke Ito as the illustrator when it should have been Hiroaki Ito.

Origin

Smoke Bomb is similar to SmokeScreen, a move in the Pokémon games that Magmortar can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
