The Magma Stone is found at [[Stark Mountain]]. In {{v2|Platinum}}, it is explained that the Magma Stone is able to control {{p|Heatran}}, the Legendary Pokémon that lives within the mountain. In this nature, it is similar to the [[Red Chain]] created by [[Cyrus]].


The Magma Rock is found at [[Stark Mountain]]. During normal gameplay, it is not available, and [[Buck]] ({{2v2|Diamond|Pearl}}) or [[Charon]] ({{v2|Platinum}}) takes it. Buck returns it after receiving advice from his grandfather, while Charon is arrested and [[Looker]], instead, absentmindedly takes it, only to have it put back by Buck.

The Magma Stone (Japanese: かざんのおきいし Volcano Stone) is a Key Item introduced in the Generation IV games. It is a red stone formed when boulders melted in intensely hot magma, then hardened. Magma remains sealed inside.

In the games

Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum

The Magma Stone is found at Stark Mountain. In Platinum, it is explained that the Magma Stone is able to control Heatran, the Legendary Pokémon that lives within the mountain. In this nature, it is similar to the Red Chain created by Cyrus.
