Mad-Paced Getter (Japanese: ゲッタバンバン Getta Banban) is the second opening song of the XY series. It debuted with XY055, replacing Mega V (Volt).
According to songwriter Sako, the lyrics of the song were written to expand the image of Ash and Clemont. Following their respective goals and dreams as numerous as the Pokémon, the song encourages everyone to fully get each one of them at a mad pace.[1]

Opening animation spoilers
- Ash's Goomy evolves into Sliggoo and later into Goodra.
- A Trainer, with a Treecko, will debut in the near future.
Variant 1
- Ash captures a Goomy.
Variant 2
Variant 3
Trivia
- In the second variant, at the part where Serena and her Pokémon were performing in a Pokémon Showcase, the outfits worn match those found on the DreamDream (single) Limited Pokémon Edition cover art.
- The complete team roster shown in the second variant was valid for less than one episode, as Sliggoo evolved in the episode directly following Fennekin's evolution into Braixen.
Errors
- During the scene of Ash and his friends riding on the giant Pokéballs, Clemont and Bonnie's giant Pokéball is seen cut off in one frame. This error was later fixed in the second variant.
- In the first variant, at the part where the main characters and their Pokémon are looking at the sunset, Luxio's pupils are black instead of yellow.
- In the second variant, at the part where the main characters and their Pokémon are looking at the sunset, Luxray's stomach is black instead of blue.
- Despite evolving in Good Friends, Great Training!, Ash's Goodra is still shown as a Sliggoo.
Variants
- XY055 - XY060: The original animation.
- XY061 - XY070: The animation is updated to show Serena with her new design, Ash's Sliggoo, Clemont's Luxray and Serena's Braixen.
- XY071 - Onwards: The animation updated to show Ash meeting Alain, the captures of Noibat and Eevee, and new images of Ramos, Valerie and Olympia.
