Lycanroc (Japanese: ルガルガン Rugarugan) is a Rock-type Pokémon.
It evolves from Rockruff. The form it takes upon evolving depends on the game it was evolved in.
Biology
Lycanroc is a canine Pokémon with two possible forms. In its Midday Form, it resembles a wolf, with a body covered mostly in brown fur. Its lower legs are white, and each foot ends in three black claws. It has a long, bushy, white tail, as well as a white mane around its neck, protruding from which are four spikes of black rock around its neck. Its face is mostly framed in brown fur, with tufts of fur sticking out from its cheeks making its head appear wider and a brown stripe running between its eyes. Its pointy ears stand on top of its head, tipped in black and with pink insides. Its muzzle and its face around its eyes are white. It has blue eyes, a black nose at the tip of its pointy snout, and four sharp fangs can be seen when it opens its mouth.
In its Midnight Form, Lycanroc resembles a slouched, bipedal canine. Its body is primarily covered in short red fur, with a white streak running up its underside and continuing up its neck to include most of its muzzle. It has a tuft of white fur on its chest, and a short, bushy, white tail. Its lower legs are white, forming a zigzag border with the red fur, and each foot is tipped with three black claws. Its arms are long and thin, with the top side of the lower arms turning white, and each hand is large, white, and has three black claws. A large mane of white fur runs in a line up its back and curls over its head, with a large spike of black rock protruding over its face. Red tufts of fur make its head seem wider, and a strip of red fur runs between its eyes, which glow red. Its ears bend forward and are tipped in black, resembling horns. Its mouth is lined with many sharp teeth.
