Pokémon Masters EX
* Before battle
Lucian (Masters)
:"Ah, you timed your arrival well. I've just finished reading a book, you see. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lucian. I am a user of the Psychic type. I must say, you've already proven yourself to be outstanding by coming this far. They say I am the toughest of the Elite Four. I'm afraid I will have to go all out against you to live up to that reputation."
Lucian forms a sync pair with Girafarig in Pokémon Masters EX. Lucian became a playable sync pair on May 13, 2022.

Lucian's Bronzong
Bronzong
Bronzong is Lucian's main Pokémon. The first time he used it was in An Elite Meet and Greet!, where it battled Dawn's newly captured Buizel. Because Buizel didn't listen to Dawn, he quickly lost. Later in the same episode, they had a rematch, and because Buizel was now listening to Dawn, the battle went better. However, Lucian eventually recalled Bronzong, saying that he had just wanted to prove Buizel's potential for becoming strong.

Lucian's match against Cynthia's Garchomp was televised in Top-Down Training!, but the Bronze Bell Pokémon was soon knocked out by the Mach Pokémon's powerful Giga Impact.

Bronzong also appeared alongside Lucian during the credits of Zoroark: Master of Illusions.

Bronzong's known moves are Iron Defense, Gyro Ball, and Flash Cannon.

Trivia

 • In Diamond and Pearl, as well as the initial Elite Four challenge in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Lucian is the only member of the Sinnoh Elite Four whose Pokémon are all of his specialty type.
 • One of the old men on Route 228, who is found in Diamond, Pearl, Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl, may be Lucian's grandfather, as he mentions he has a grandson who enjoys reading and who has a library of books on ESP.
 • While Lucian's clothes are colored maroon in his official Ken Sugimori artwork and the anime, they are colored magenta in his game sprites.
 • Two members of the Sinnoh Elite Four, Aaron and Lucian, share their names with the main characters of Konami's Lunar Knights for the DS.
 • One of the books that Lucian reads in the Canalave Library is a collection of letters from an artist to his younger brother, one of which confesses the artist's awe for the night sky. This may be a reference to the artist Vincent van Gogh, who wrote letters to his younger brother Theo and painted The Starry Night.
