After the main story in Conquest is completed, the option to play several side stories open up. Each story focuses on a particular Warlord. Different stories have different completion requirements, ranging from uniting the entire region to amassing a certain number of Warriors in the Warlord's army.
Pokémon Conquest is divided in many stories, including The Legend of Ransei, which is initially the only playable story. Clearing this story will unlock the Select Story menu, which contains the remaining stories that the player manages to unlock. There are 37 selectable stories, one for each Warlord, with varying objectives, difficulty, and included kingdoms.

Unite Ransei
The Legend of Ransei
Each of these stories requires the player to unite Ransei under a certain Warlord, much like the main game.
The objective of this story changes as the story line progresses. All 17 kingdoms of Ransei are eventually included.

These stories all focus on a competition held between the four ninja Warlords of Ransei. It takes place in the eastern part of Ransei. Each Warlord starts off with two nations under their control. The player must conquer all eight of the eastern nations to clear the story.
