This Pokémon event was distributed as a promotion to get people to fix a Berry glitch on Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire that plagued many players. It was distributed at GameStop starting March 1, 2004, as well as receive it from the Game Cube Interactive Multi-Game Demo Disc Version 16. Its name will always be in English. Note that its Original Trainer from Pokémon Sapphire was named with SAPHIRE instead, possibly due to the input limitation.
