Revision as of 03:06, 27 August 2007

This is is a chronological list of Nintendo Pokémon promotional events for all regions.

Periodically, Nintendo hosts or sponsors parties and events for fans, often in connection to the premier of a new game or movie. They are especially notable in that certain rare Pokémon and items in the games, as well as cards and other things, are only available for a limited time from them. The methods used to transfer Pokémon and items to a game have varied over time, and include direct link trading, wireless reception from a Wonder Spot via Mystery Gift, or physical reception from an e-Card via Mystery Events; other methods may occur in the future.

List of events

July 14 to September 9, 2007. Attendees to the showing of the tenth Pokémon movie, Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai, will directly receive a Darkrai via Mystery Gift. The Darkrai is inside a Cherish Ball and holds an Enigma Berry, both normally unobtainable items, and knows Spacial Rend and Roar of Time, usually known only by Palkia and Dialga respectively. Japan: Daisuki Club Jirachi wish

June 15 to July 2, 2007. Members of the official Japanese Pokémon fan club, Pokémon Daisuki Club, could enter a contest for a postcard good for redeeming a Jirachi from a Pokémon Center retail store. Entry was done by sending a "wish" to Jirachi in the Daisuki Club's web site. The received Jirachi would be transferred to a Pokémon Diamond or Pearl game card inside a Cherish Ball at Lv. 5.
