The following is a list of all English language home video releases of the Pokémon: The Johto Journeys season of the anime in the United States and Canada. The series was released on both VHS and DVD formats. The Johto Journeys North American releases were published by VIZ Media and distributed by Pioneer Entertainment (now known as Geneon), as VIZ Media was not yet distributing movies by themselves. The series was released only as individual volumes. A boxset is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2015.

List of volumes
In Region 1 releases, the episodes are ordered and separated according to Viz Media season (which correspond to opening themes), rather than by standard seasons (in the same way as on Pokémon.com).

The following single releases contained three episodes each and were available on both VHS and DVD. EP156 and EP157 were never released on home video in North America. The volume numbers of these VHS and DVD releases are a continuation of the original Indigo League VHS and DVD volumes. Volumes 27-38 were presumably reserved for Orange Islands videos and DVDs, but these were never produced or released; instead, VIZ Media opted for three sets of twelve episodes each.
Single releases
The Johto Journeys single VHS and DVD releases were released by Viz Video and distributed by Pioneer Entertainment (now known as NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan). These releases do not include The Psychic Sidekicks! and The Fortune Hunters. Optional English closed captioning is included on the DVDs.

Latest revision as of 13:18, 9 December 2022

The following is a list of all of the English language home video releases of the third season of the Pokémon anime, Pokémon: The Johto Journeys, in the United States and Canada (DVD Region 1).

In Region 1 releases, the episodes are ordered and separated according to Viz Media season (which correspond to opening themes), rather than by standard seasons (in the same way as on Pokémon.com).

Single releases

050Diglett.png This list is incomplete.
Please feel free to edit this list to add missing information and complete it.
Reason: Catalogue numbers

The Johto Journeys single VHS and DVD releases were released by Viz Video and distributed by Pioneer Entertainment (now known as NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan). These releases do not include The Psychic Sidekicks! and The Fortune Hunters. Optional English closed captioning is included on the DVDs.

The volume numbers of these VHS and DVD releases are a continuation of the original Indigo League VHS and DVD volumes. Volumes 27-38 were presumably reserved for Adventures on the Orange Islands videos and DVDs, but Adventures in the Orange Islands was never released in individual volumes this way.
